Privacy Policy — Haunt
Last updated: 13 July 2026
Haunt respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app processes.
Data we collect
None. Haunt sends no personal data to the cloud and stores none of it on our side.
- Your name and preferences (theme, duration, sound/jump-scare settings) are stored ONLY ON YOUR DEVICE.
- Your Philips Hue bridge keys are kept encrypted in your device's secure Keychain; they never reach us.
- We do not track. There is no advertising identifier, analytics tracker or third-party tracking.
AI scenario generation (optional)
When you generate a personalised horror scenario, only non-personal context is sent to our server: the session duration, the theme you chose, the ROOM NAMES in your home (e.g. "living room") and the list of available sounds. Your name, location or identity is NOT sent, and this data is not stored.
Deleting your data
You can delete all local data at any time via Settings → Legal & About → "Reset All Data". Since you have no data in the cloud, there is no remote data to delete.
